Overview

BAM insured $5.3 billion of new issues that priced during the Third Quarter, an 8% increase vs. 2025.

 

BAM wrapped 17 issues with par of $100M or more, and 22 transactions where underwriters and issuers strategically used bond insurance on select maturities to broaden demand for their sales.

 

Notable examples included:

  • $436M of the $2.3B sale by the Aquarion Water Authority
  • $126M of last week’s $782M sale for the Nashville Convention Center, and
  • $103M of an $818M sale by the Long Island Power Authority

For the year to date, BAM has insured $14 billion across 603 series for 590 member-issuers
